PURPOSE:To ensure effective reproduction with a magnetic recording/reproducing device, by separating a reading transfer part from a reproducing part in terms of space or time and performing the reproduction after having sufficient rise and fall of temperature at the transfer part and reading part, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic film 6 is formed on the base 5 of a recording medium as a recording layer, and a transfer film 7 is adhered on the film 6. The beams given from a laser 1 are divided by a beam splitter 2 into a beam 8 having a small amount of attenuation and an attenuated faint laser beam 9. Then the thin film 7 heated up to a level near the Curie point for transfer, and the comparatively weak laser beam 9 is made incident when the heated point is sufficiently cooled down. Then an output of reproduction is delivered from a photoelectric converter 15. |
