A clamping set having at least one inner taper ring with a cylindrical inner circumferential surface and an outer circumferential surface designed as a tapered surface and having at least one outer taper ring with a cylindrical outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface designed as a tapered surface. The taper rings can be clamped together axially by means of axial clamping screws. Arranged on the outer circumference of the clamping set is an additional cylindrical ring (30), which is unslotted and rests against the circumferential surface of the cut-out of the outer component to be clamped on a shaft. The cylindrical ring (30) removes part of the radial surface pressure on the taper rings, with the result that slipping at the interface between the outer circumferential surface (31) of the cylindrical ring (30) and the circumferential surface (3) of the cut-out of the outer component (1) takes place, but not between the clamping set and the shaft. <IMAGE>
