PURPOSE:To make a camera compact when it is not used, by attaching a supporting base stored in a case part to the lower part of a camera body rotatably, and pulling out the case part downward from the body part to rotate the case part at a specific angle when the camera is used. CONSTITUTION:A thin box-shaped camera body part 1 consists of an upper body 1a whose plane shape is equal to that of a case part 2, and a lower body part 1b stored in the case part 2; and when the camera is used, the camera body part 1 is pulled out from the case 2 and is rotated at 90 deg.. The upper body part 1a is provided with a finder 3, srorbe operation knob 4, and a strobe light emission part 5, and the lower body part 1b is provided with a photographic lens 6, focusing knob 7, film sensitivity setting knob 8, and a freely opening/ closing rear cover 9. The case part 2 has the upper part opened, and the lower body part 1b is stored in the case part 2 when the camera body part 1 is pressed downward, and the whole of this camera is made compact. |
