Polyhedral playing die

A polyhedral playing die for party games, games of chance or other types of games for entertainment is to be provided with the largest possible number of side surfaces. On a spherical body, planar and regular trapezium surfaces are thus formed, between two pole-side sphere caps, over a plurality of length zones and width zones which are symmetrical with respect to a great circle. In this arrangement, in each case the two trapezium surfaces located in two mutually symmetrical width zones are configured with the same surfaces. In contrast, the trapezium surfaces provided in mutually unsymmetrical width zones have different configuration. The trapezium surfaces located in the outer width zones are provided, towards the sphere caps, with arcuate delimitation edges. On the spherical body, the trapezium surfaces are preferably designed in four width zones which are symmetrical with respect to the great circle, to be precise such that such trapezium surfaces are distributed over ten length zones.
