The application relates to a motor vehicle with a driver's cab and a mounted camper body which is wider than the driver's cab and has a projecting part which extends into the region above the roof of the driver's cab, provides sleeping places and terminates approximately with the front edge of the roof of the driver's cab. An aerodynamically favourable design of a motor vehicle of this type is intended to be achieved according to the invention in that the projecting part is designed as the flat shell, the top side of which forms a hinged lifting or pivoting roof, and in that the width of the projecting part, in the region above the windscreen, corresponds to the width of the driver's cab and from there increases rearwards, preferably continuously, until it reaches the width of the camper body.
