This reading light for vehicles comprises: a casing 2 in two parts, in which there is placed a reflector 25 covered by a piece of glass 30; a control button 14 for a switch acting on a contact 20; and a flexible arm 4 carrying the casing and forming the jacket of the cable 13. The optical axis 5 of the light and the longitudinal axis of the arm 4 are situated in the plane of partition of the casing 2, and this casing has, on the outside, two stopping faces 6 and 7 which are substantially parallel and which are perpendicular to the plane of partition, in order to provide a support for the button 14 and for the arm 4; and the lateral walls 8 and 15 forming these stop surfaces are engaged in grooves of the button 14 and of the free end of the arm 4. The parts of the casing are held together by openings in the reflector 25 which clamp reliefs 26 formed on the inside of the parts of the casing. <IMAGE> |
