PURPOSE:To obtain a telescopic type contact sensor used for an extending fork of a stacker crane or the like by transmitting contact information with an optical lever composed of a light transmitter/receiver and a mirror. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 20 slides along the inner wall of an outer cylinder 10 according to the extension or reduction of a fork of a stacker crane or the like. Light emitted from a light transmitter/receiver 40 is reflected with a mirror 41 and enters the light receiver section thereof 40 to make a drive motor of the fork drive or readied to drive it. When the fork comes in contact with a part rack or the like, the tip of a contact rod 25 gets in contact with the part rack or the like to rotate a lever plate 21 about a hinge pin 22 against the spring force of a coil spring 28. As the angle of a mirror 41 varies, the reflected light fails to enter the light receiver section and the motor is stopped to avoid the damage of the part rack or the like. This device eliminates the need for wiring like a limit switch or the like, reducing troubles therein. |
