PURPOSE:To obtain the titled ink jet recorder having a filter capable of supplying ink stably without causing an increase in the flow path resistance of ink even when more or less amounts of foreign matters are adhered by providing a filter having a diameter larger than the outside diameter of the tip of an ink supply tube to the tip of the ink supply tube. CONSTITUTION:An ink supply tube 18 is connected to the rear end of an ink jet nozzle 17, and a porous filter 19 with an elastic tube 20 is integrally attached to the tip of the tube 18. The tip of the filter 19 is shaped into a conical form formed by cutting it off, and the diameter of the contact part between the filter 19 and the tube 18 is equalized with the outside diameter of the tube 18.
