R1 is S(O)nR3;
R2 is H, halogen, CH3, OCH3, CF3 or NO2;
R3 is alkyl, alkenyl or cyclopropylmethyl;
n is 0, 1 or 2;
X is CH3, C2H5, CH3O, C2H5O, CH2OCH3 or Cl;
Y is halogen, NH2 NHCH3 or N(CH3)2; and
Z is CH or N,
and their agriculturally suitable salts exhibit herbicidal and plant growth regulant activities. They may be formulated for use in conventional manner.
<??>The novel compounds may e.g. be made by reacting an appropriately substituted 2-aminopyrimidine or 2-amino-1,3,5-triazine with an appropriate benzenesulfonyl isocyanate. </p> |
