PURPOSE:To obtain a durable low-cost key top by a method in which ink is impregnated into polyester resin by leaving only patterns corresponding to desired letters, marks, etc., untreated for a display region formed of a brighter color polyester resin than in the other region. CONSTITUTION:A display panel 20 formed of the same color polyester resin as a desired color for letters, marks, etc., to be displayed in a brighter color than the resin of a key top body 10 is fitted into the recession 11 of the key top body 10. A transfer paper 30 is overlaid on the display panel 20 through an ink pattern 31, and they are heated by supersonic waves by means of a supersonic wave horn 40, whereby impregnation of ink into the polyester resin is accelerated and the projection 12 on the bottom of the recession 11 is hotbonded to connect the display panel 20 with the key top body 10 by bonding. |
