PURPOSE:To perform impregnation operation with a simple device without hardening of an impregnating liquid, by holding a vessel contg. an object to be impregnated above the liquid level in an impregnating liquid tank contg. the impregnating liquid and dipping the material to be impregnated into the impregnating liquid. CONSTITUTION:The inside of an impregnation tank 11 is evacuated to a vacuum by a vacuum pump 15. A lifting device 13 is moved upon closing of a vacuum valve 16 to lift a storage tank 12 until an object to be impregnated is thoroughly dipped in an impregnating liquid. A vacuum break valve 17 is then opened to restore the inside pressure to the atm. pressure, whereafter the device 13 is lowered and after the liquid is thoroughly drained from the material to be impregnated, said material is removed and the impregnation is completed. The cooling pipe 18 in the tank 12 maintains the impregnating liquid always at a low temp. due to the cold water from a chiller. |
