PURPOSE:To obtain a printer capable of clearly setting the fitting angle of printing hammers at the time of design and requiring no regulation after being assembled by a method in which the warping angle of a flexible type supporter when types come into contact with the surace of a platen is equalized with the fitting angle of the printing hammers. CONSTITUTION:Since a warping angle (i) at the point P of a flexible type supporter 6 when a type 5 comes into contact with the printing point P of a platen 1 is an integration of fine warping angles DELTAi at each moment, the warping angle (i) is equal to an integration of turning angles DELTAj at each moment. As a result, it becomes equal to the inclined angle or fitting angle alpha of the striking line of a printing hammer 3 at the center point Q of type.
