PURPOSE:To easily perform the analysis of chemical ingredients of varied items in blood in a short time by using a small amount of blood by such an arrangement wherein a disk on which plural piercing holes are arranged with equal interval on the same plane is installed to be freely rotatable and an optical means which irradiates light on measuring elements inserted into those piercing holes and receives light reflected from those elements is provided. CONSTITUTION:Measuring elements 14, each is impregnated with a reagent necessary for the analysis of blood, are installed in piercing holes 18 which are arranged in row with equal interval provided on the same plane of a disk 19. The disk 19 is set in a disk chamber 3 and its lid 5 is closed, and a small amount of blood is poured through a pipette inserting hole 25. Light rays of desired wavelength are taken out from a light source 27 through a filter 28 and they are irradiated on the back of measuring elements 14 through a condenser. Light rays reflected from the back reach a light receiving element 33, and an analyzed value is digitally displayed on a display window 46. Since the disk chamber is maintained in the range of constant temperatures, conditions for reaction are uniform and accurate measured values can be obtained. |
