PURPOSE:To avoid throw-out of a spare tyre on account of an impact and allow said tyre to serve for damping the impact by holding the spare tyre between the floor of a car body and a back door in the erected attitude. CONSTITUTION:With a back door 3 closed, the upper and the lower part of a spare tyre 9 stay respectively in the recess 6 of the back door 3 and the recess 8 of a car body floor 7 to keep the spare tyre 9 between the back door 3 and the car body floor 7 so that the spare tyre 9, may not be thrown out even if subjected to an impact and may be firmly fastened. If impact force F is input from a rear bumper 12 at the time of the collision of a vehicle, the impact force F is dispersed over the car body floor 7 and a car body roof 17 via the spare tyre 9. Consequently, the impact force may be damped by rear side frames 11, 11 and a rear roof header 2 which have high strength. |
