PURPOSE:To mechanize caulking of a frame and a spring frame wire superposed on the frame, by providing a metallic claw pushing-down bodies attached on the rod of the frame on the placing stand of the metallic frame. CONSTITUTION:A frame 1 is fitted to an open groove 18 of a stand 13 consisting of six pieces, two each in front and rear and one each in left and right, and a frame wire 11 having zigzag spring is superposed at the outside of claws 4, 5, 8, 9 provided on the upper face. When the pistons of cylinders 24, 29, 38, 41 are elongated, a rubber bar 43 and a metallic part 44 press the frame wire 11 against the frame 1. Pushing-down rods 21, 22 rotate around horizontal axes 19, 20 and bend front and rear side claws 4, 4, 5, 5 from inside to outside and caulk. In the left and right sides, a cylinder 38 slides on a rail 32 through a pinion 36 and a rack to slide a pushing-down rod 34, and the claws 9 (similarly the claw 8) are bent and caulked. |
