PURPOSE:To eliminate waste of recording paper, by applying a dotting punch line to a slit produced between pictures with a dotting punch wheel and at a space produced at the end of the picture, and shifting the dotting punch line to the fixed cutter position through the detection of the end of receiving. CONSTITUTION:The dotting punch wheel 31 is provided to a head stand fitted with a recording head 26 and reciprocating, and the wheel is positioned to the contact and waiting position to a recording chart 8. When the wheel 31 is in contact with the recording chart 8, the wheel 31 is made freely turnably in the scanning direction of the head 26, and the cylindrical flange surface of the dotting wheel 31 presses the surface of a platen stand 23 via the recording chart 8. A tooth form 31C are inserted to a groove 45 in the main scanning direction provided on the surface of the stand 23, the wheel 31 is moved turnably to the slit produced between the pictures of the recording chart 8 and the space produced at the final end of the picture with the reciprocating operation of the head stand 1 to form dotting punch holes. The dotting punch lines are applied by driving the dotting punch wheel 31 again after the dotting punch line applied at the space of the final end of the recording chart is shifted to the position of a fixed cutter 48 in response to the detection of the end of receiving of the picture signal. |
