PURPOSE:To prevent an image from blurring regardless of environmental condition as much as possible, by displacing the recording body guide surface of a guide by the elastic force of an elastic body according to the rigidity of a recording body. CONSTITUTION:A developer image 37 is transferred onto copying paper 24 by the corona discharge of a transfer corona discharger 19. The guide 32 is so constituted that the elastic body 34 is provided on the guide plate 33, so when copying paper 24 such as a post card with large rigidity is used, the elastic body 34 is removed by the rigidity of the copying paper 24, which is guided to a position near a transfer point (a) on a photoreceptor 14; the copying paper 24 is guided without any slip and the disorder and jam of an image due to a shift in transfer point (a) are prevented securely. Further, when the copy paper 24 has small rigidity, the elastic body 34 is not removed by the rigidity of the copying paper 24, which is guided to a position distant from the transfer point (a). |
