PURPOSE:To improve the debug method for a microprogram, by executing a single step without discontinuing clocks. CONSTITUTION:When the single step execution is selected, an input D of a DFF47 becomes active via an OR gate 48. Then the FF47 is set by a clock signal 36. Then both a microstorage output permitting signal 32 and an external microstorage OMS or a switch output permitting signal 35 become inactive via an AND gate 49. An RS.FF46 is reset through the gate 48 in the latter half of a clock, and therefore the output D of the FF47 becomes inactive. Then the FF47 is reset by a signal 36. Therefore, the signal 32 or the OMS is active for a microcycle. Thus it is possible to execute a single step. |
