PURPOSE:To increase mechanical strength and to improve fixing performance and the durable number of copies, by providing a silicone rubber coating layer around a roll core bar and forming a coating layer of fluororubber thereupon. CONSTITUTION:Addition reaction type silicone rubber is formed by injection around the roll core bar made of aluminum and cured by being heated at 70 deg.C for two hours. Then, this is sprayed with dispersion of vinylidene fluoride fluororubber containing ethylene tetrafluoride resin under 2-3kg/cm<2> blowing pressure. This is left at room temperature for 10min and dried at 60 deg.C for 10mins, and then baked at 200 deg.C for 30min. Thus the obtained roll is attached to the heat fixation part of a copying machine and felt impregnated with silicone oil having >=10,000 centistoke viscosity is brought into contact with the heat roll, increasing the durable number of copies by about twice as a result of a paper feed test. |
