PURPOSE:To shield the exposure part of a process unit against light securely by a flexible member which forms an opening for exposure by contacting the optical means of a main body and returns to an opening blocking state when released from contacting the optical means. CONSTITUTION:Two black flexible sheets 19a and 19b made of synthetic resin are adhered to the upper part of the unit 13, i.e. on the picture exposure part, and the unadhered parts of both sheets overlap each other so that external light leaks from a gap between both sheets. Two sheets 19a and 19b are both folded downward in order to facilitate the attachment of the unit 13 to the main body. The sheets 19a and 19b cover the exposure opening part 18 completely and are folded slantingly to the entrance-side gap of the unit to shield the opening part against lateral light sufficiently, providing complete light shielding. |
