PURPOSE:To detect an accurate stop position of a vehicle even after a service interruption is recovered, by discriminating the stop position of the vehicle with a ground antenna provided with a prescribed distance and plural antennas set on the vehicle with a short distance in accordance with the receiving modes of these antennas. CONSTITUTION:For a detector for stop position of a vehicle 21, a ground antenna 24 having length L1 is provided at the stop position of the vehicle like a station, etc. along the traveling direction 28 of the vehicle 21. A transmitter is connected to the antenna 24. Two antennas 25 and 26 are set on the vehicle 21 with a distance L2 and connected to a receiver 27 respectively. In this case, L1>=L2 is satisfied. Then a radio wave is transmitted from the antenna 24 in the circumference direction 28 and detected by the antennas 25 and 26. Thus a prescribed receiving mode is delivered to a processing circuit 36 via a discriminating circuit 31 to control a motor 37. The circuit 31 consists of a logical circuit, etc. and decides the stop position of the vehicle 21 when both antennas 25 and 26 receive the radio wave. |
