PURPOSE:To improve a sealing effect, by a method wherein loading endurance of a reinforcing ring is increased to higher than loading endurance inherent to a material metal by curing treatment, and a seal lip is formed to the inner peripheral end part of an annular flange part. CONSTITUTION:After a reinforcing ring 1 is formed in an L-shape by a steel plate, curing treatment is made so that high loading endurance is held to an outer peripheral part 1b. A seal lip 2, formed by heat resistant rubber, is formed to the obliquely upwardly bent inner peripheral edge part of the flange part 1b. This constitution enables maintenance of the sufficient margin of engagement with a housing, having high thermal expansion, at a high temperature time, and improves sealing ability.
