PURPOSE:To eliminate original jamming and reverse-side copying by using a vacuum system as a conveying means and using an endless transparent plastic belt as a platen part conveyor belt. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of a platen belt 6 is 50-60mum, <=50mum thickness is hard to manufacture and >=60mum thickness causes a blank material to have rigidity and is not preferable. The diameter and pitch of vacuum holes formed on the belt are 1.5-2.5mm. and 15-25mm. respectively, to suck securely an original of B5 size which is a minimum original. The relation between the hole diameter and interhole pitch is determined appropriately depending upon vacuum force necessary for sucking a form and vacuum force generated by a blower. |
