PURPOSE:To provide a titled sintering furnace which permits partial replacement of insulation layers according to the amt. of deposits and improves economy by forming the heat insulation layers in a sintering chamber provided in a vacuum vessel into plural layers and constituting the same freely replaceably. CONSTITUTION:Heat insulation layers 1 consisting of carbonaceous fibers, etc. are formed into easily replaceable plural layers by using rails 11, etc. in a sintering furnace for powder metallurgy which is formed with a sintering chamber 6 in a vacuum vessel 2 and is provided with supporting racks 7 for the work (a), as well as heaters 8, etc. in the chamber 6. Only the heat insulation material on the inside of the layers 1 contaminated by the deposits of the vapors contg. the lubricants, impurities, metallic components, etc. generated from the work (a) during sintering is made easily replaceable to improve the economy and efficiency of the sintering furnace. It is also possible to decrease the frequency of replacing the heat insulation material on the outside by inserting a lubricant filter between the inside and outside heat insulation materials. |
