PURPOSE:To perform focus settling simultaneously with automatic taking up while preventing the consumption of large electric power in the built-in power source of a camera, by inhibiting the driving of a lens driving motor during film taking up operation and switching the built-in power source with an external power source for a lens. CONSTITUTION:When the level of a taking up completion terminal 3 falls on photography, a transistor 23 turns on to power on the taking up motor WM by the built-in power source Vbt. At the same time, the output of the terminal 3 is at the low level, so AND gates 15 and 16 are closed to stop the operation of the lens driving motor FM. A changeover switch 13 is changed over to the side of the external power source 19 for the lens to input a high-level signal to one- side inputs of the gates 15 and 16 invariably through a signal line 14. After photography, a low-level signal is outputted from an in-photography terminal 2 to actuate a sequencer SEQ and the gate 15 or 16 outputs the high-level signal to drive the lens driving motor FM. At this time, the output signal of the terminal 3 is at the low level, so the taking up motor WM is powered on by the built-in power source Vb1. |
