PURPOSE:To prolong the life of an exposure lamp, to cool an exposure lamp sufficiently, and to realize less power consumption and high efficiency, by making the original illumination device of an original standstill type slit exposure copying machine the fixed type. CONSTITUTION:The illumination device 1 is fixed and divergent light from a light source lamp 2 is passed through a cylindrical lens 4 as a parallel beam reflected by a parabolic mirror 3 and direct projection light to be converged to a point f1 (or f2), and made into a parallel beam by a parabolic mirror 5. This parallel beam L1 is reflected by a nirror 6 to illuminate an original P on platen glass 7 in a slit shape. The reflected light from the original P is guided through mirrors 8, 9, and 10, an exposure lens 11, and a mirror 12 to a photosensitive drum for exposure. Further, those mirrors 6, 8, 9, and 10 are movable in parallel to the platen glass 7 and they move to make a scan on the original P. Further, the mirrors 9 and 10 are displaced relatively to the mirrors 6 and 8 in order to hold the original-lens distance constant. |
