. A device for filling and bridging a space between two adjacent structural components, such as in a containment structure for a nuclear power station, includes a box-like housing having a pair of oppositely disposed side surfaces forming a closed hollow space. One side surface is formed of an elastically deformable material. A hardenable material, such as a cement grout, is filled into the hollow space displacing the deformable surface outwardly away from the other side surface. When the housing is placed between the structural components and filled with the hardenable material, each of the side surfaces bears against a different one of the structural components, filling the space between them.
|
