PURPOSE:To simulate all types of traveling actions equal to an actual driving device, by forming a composite pulse having a phase similar to the output waveform of a detecting signal given from a rotary detector and then delivering a position signal in accordance with the zigzag traveling action of the driving device. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic flaw detector is provided to a driving device to which a zigzag scan is applied with an ultrasonic test equipment. The traveling state of the driving device is delivered to a collecting device 5 from a revolution detector in the form of a position signal. A simulator is formed to deliver a position signal same as that which applied a zigzag traveling action of the driving device. Such a sequencer 12 reads 15 a sequence program about a traveling pattern out of a cassette tape 13 via a programming device 14. Then a composite pluse is produced within a PCM16 consisting of a reference clock generating/processing part 17, X and Y axis counting parts 18 and 19, and an output processing part 20. This composite pulse is delivered to the device 5 in the from of a position signal that simulated the movement of the driving device. |
