PURPOSE:To raise the space factor of a coil conductor by such an arrangement wherein a coil is prepared by winding a coil strand of flat square form in a spiral form, and a part is composed by combining such coils together and a segment coil is composed of those parts and by this structure, insulation gaps between coils strands are made smaller. CONSTITUTION:A coil 2a is formed by winding a coil basic wire of flat and square shape into substantially a spiral form with a space larger than the width of the strand provided between strands on a flat surface, and another coil 2b which is formed similarly into a spiral form is combined with the coil 2a so that its coil stand is positioned between wires of the coil 2a with an insulation gap provided between them, and both coils are arranged on the same plane. Next, a pair of this coil part 3a, 3b are laid one on another through a sheet of insulation and segment coils 6a-6c are formed by connecting all coils in series, and these segment coils in plural are arranged on a plane which is around a rotor shaft 8 and rectangular thereto. With this structure, insulation gaps between coil strands can be made smaller and the space factor of the coil conductor can be made larger. |
