Quality determination of filter cakes - using electrodes to indicate cake thickness, dryness and purity

The electrodes one for the filter cake thickness, one for its dryness and one for its purity are only connected to the measuring and controlling circuit via amplifiers during the respective operations of filtering, purification and drying. The arrangement is used for the automatic control of intermittently operated filters.
