<p>A method for making an oil compensating vessel for oil-filled cables, using an inner vessel membrane consisting of a number of components sealed together and externally wound, uses oil resistant plastic for membrane components, the membrane composed of these components being wound with tensioned glass fibres impregnated with a hardening resin. Specif., the fibres are wound obliquely around the vessel. Prefd. materials are unsatd. polyester resin for impregnating the glass fibres, and hard PVC for the vessel membrane components.</p> |
