PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a heat generating body, by providing a scale generation part, AD converter, shift control, shift register, recording control part, head driver, and a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:The scale generation part 1 outputs a scale signal specified by external control. At the same time, an AD-converted input signal from an AD converter 2 is stored in a corresponding digit of the shift register 4. On the other hand, the shift control 3 receives an external control signal to send a control signal for shifting the signal stored in the register 4 in the positive direction by one digit to the register 4. The register 4 shifts the stored signal in the positive direction by one digit by the control signal and outputs it. The recording control part 5 receives the shapes the output into a recording pattern signal, which is outputted. The head driver 6 receives this recording pattern to drive the heating body of a digit of the multiple thermal head 7 corresponding to the pattern signal, recording a scale shifted in the positive direction by one digit, and the input signal on heat-sensitive recording paper. |
