PURPOSE:To enable stable control, by applying a disturbance to a feedback control system for a DC motor for winding or sending out yarn, to calculate the dynamic characteristic of the control system and by adjusting a control characteristic to an optimal value on the basis of the result of the comparison of the calculated dynamic characteristic and an objective function. CONSTITUTION:The output of a tension setting unit 2 is applied to an controlled object 12 through addition points 13, 3, a PID controller 4 and an addition point 14. A tension signal is applied as a negative feedback from the controlled object 12 to the addition point 3. The output of a disturbance signal generator 15 is applied to the addition points 13, 14 through a changeover switch 16. The generator 15 is connected to a high-speed Fourier transformer 19 through a changeover switch 17. A cross power spectrum is calculated at 20 from the outputs of the transformer 19 and another high-speed Fourier transformer 18 which receives the feedback signal. A transfer function for the controlled object 12 is calculated at 21 from the cross power spectrum and an automatic power spectrum from a calculator 22. The factors of the control characteristic of a controller 4 are changed on the basis of the transfer function through a stability discriminator 23 etc. |
