PURPOSE:To unify coaxial cables between a processing part and a display part to a single cable and to transmit more information in a short time, by transmitting a range signal pulse in superposing with a different signal, and discriminating and separating the superposed signal at the display part. CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic waves from transmitter-receivers 1A and 1B are inputted through the transmitting and receiving circuit 22 of the processing part 2 to a range signal generating circuit 23, which generates pulses with width corresponding to the time from the transmission to the reception of the ultrasonic waves. Then, abnormal signals 24a and 24b of the transmitter-receivers and a nighttime dimming signal 25b are superposed 26 upon the range signal and the composite signal is supplied to the display part 3. The display part 3 identifies the respective signals by a discriminating circuit 31 to display the range signal and abnormal signals by a display circuit 32, respectively. |
