<p>PURPOSE:To obtain self-supply of a desulfurizing agent and resources saving by using desulfurizing agent for dry purification obtained by molding a precipitate with or without the addition of sawdust, the said precipitate being obtained from a settling tank of coke oven gas treating apparatus. CONSTITUTION:In a waste water treating stage for gas liquor, etc. obtained from the production stage of coke oven gas, agglomerated precipitate, in which Fe2O3. 3H2O is a nucleus, obtained from a settling tank is separated by a centrifugal separator and molded with or without the addition of sawdust and dried to produce a desulfurizing agent for dry purification. The desulfurizing capacity and the regeneration ability of the desulfurizing agent are comparable with conventional iron powder type desulfurizing agent. It is not necessary to age the agent for about one month. Particles of the agent are fine, the agent is light in weight and the absorption capacity per Fe is excellent. Sludge in the agglomerated precipitate can be used as the desulfurizing agent can be supported it self, it serves a saving of resources.</p> |
