PURPOSE:To avoid wasteful consumption of a web and to simplify a device by disposing a means for detecting the temp. of an object to be cleaned, and providing a control means for moving a cleaning body by a specified extent when the temp. of the object to be cleaned attains a specified temp. or above. CONSTITUTION:Bimetal 9 which is held in contact with the surface of a fixation roll 1 deforms when said metal attains a specified temp. or above, then a leaf spring 10 coupled thereto deforms like an alternate long and two short dashes line from the solid line position shown in the figure. A rack 11 is then forced upward to rotate a gear 12 coupled directly to a winding roll 8, by which a cleaning web 5 is wound. Even when the bimetal 9 deforms largely to a required extent at, for example, 150 deg.C and move the web, the bimetal does not restore the original state unless the temp. falls down to about 110 deg.C. Therefore the web is prevented from moving unless a fixation roll cools down to 110 deg.C when a power source is interrupted for a short time by a jam or the like and the power source is again turned on, whereby the wasteful consumption of the web is prevented and the device is simplified. |
