<p>PURPOSE:To provide a titled device made in consideration of preventing a tension controlling system from a bad influence caused by the change of tension, by constituting the device so that it corrects a detecting signal of strip tension at the time of releasing and closing motions of an upper work roll, in replacing rolls during the rolling of a continuous cold rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:In rearranging the work rolls 2, 3 of a specified stand of a multi-stand tandem type cold mill during the rolling of a strip 1, the lower work roll 3 is released first, and then, the present strip tension T1, detected by a tension detecting roll 4 and a tensiometer 5, is stored in a memory 10 by turning on a signal take-in gate 11. Next, a correction signal gate 12 is turned on by a controller 15 to actuate a pass line regulator 16 thereby releasing the upper work roll 2. A tension angle of the strip 1 is changed with said release, and a detecting value of tension becomes T2. For removing the apparent changing quantity of tension DELTAT=T1-T2, the detected signal is corrected by adders 13, 14 to input the results to a speed controlling device 8 as a tension controlling signal.</p> |
