PURPOSE:To make a crossover frequency of a tweeter/squawker and a woofer optimum, by applying a signal from a synthesizer to an amplifier and driving the woofer with the amplifier. CONSTITUTION:Stereo left and right channel signals applied to input terminals 11, 11' are power-amplified 12, 12' and applied to bridge circuits 16, 16' including tweeters/squawkers 13, 13'. A signal A having the velocity characteristic of the tweeter/squawker is obtained at both ends of the bridges 16, 16', i.e., at unit terminals +, - of differential amplifiers 17, 17'. This signal is integrated at an integrating function of the differential amplifiers and a signal B is obtained at an output terminal of the amplifiers 17, 17', the signals of both the channels are added 18, power-amplified 14 and the woofer 15 is driven. The signal applied to the speaker 15 has a frequency band below that of the speakers 13, 13', allowing to optimize the reproducing frequency of the speaker 15 at all times. |
