PURPOSE:To improve detecting accuracy and to reduce costs, by constituting a detecting element, i.e., a thermocouple, by a positive side core wire of a compensating conductor and a negative side core wire thereof, and omitting the connecting work of the thermocouple and the compensating conductor. CONSTITUTION:A compensating conductor 1 comprises a chromel stranded wire 2 and an alumel stranded wire 3. One end of the conductor 1 is inserted into an insulated tube 4, and a thermocouple 5 is formed at the end thereof. The thermocouple is compressed to a metal resisting sheath 7, which is filled up with cement 6 in advance. The compensating conductor 1 is fixed by one end of a metal pipe 10. The sheath 7 is fixed by the other end thereof. In this way, the difficult connecting work between the thermocouple 5 and the compensating conductor 1 is omitted. A cold connecting point is not present in the main body of a sensor. Therefore, he detecting accuracy becomes excellent and the costs can be reduced by the reduction in the working processes. |
