PURPOSE:To requir no blower and facilitate the maintenance and inspection, etc. by continuously providing spiral grooves on the outer periphery of a flywheel from the lower portion to upper portion of the flywheel so that the flywheel itself serves as a fan. CONSTITUTION:Spiral grooves are continuously provided on the outer periphery of a flywheel 13 from the lower portion to upper portion. Therefore, when the flywheel 13 is rotated, the wind is fed from the lower portion to upper portion of the flywheel 13, thus cooling the outer periphery of the flywheel 13. That is, the flywheel 13 itself serves as a fan as a result of its rotation and the wind flows along the outer periphery of the flywheel from the lower portion to upper portion of the flywheel, thus cooling the flywheel itself. Accordingly, a separate blower for cooling the flywheel is not required, thereby the diameter D of the concrete foundation 20 can be reduced. |
