PURPOSE:To enable complete atomizing of a slurry-like fuel, by a method wherein a first steam passage for feeding first steam by jetting is installed in a manner to surround a slurry passage, and further, a second steam passage is installed therearound. CONSTITUTION:By feeding a slurry 31 and first and second steam 21 and 22 through their respective passages, a slurry-like fuel 31, jetted through a slurry nozzle 91 as it is rotated in a manner to be deviated 90 deg. from its advancing direction, collides with a first steam 21, jetted through a first steam nozzle 101 as it is rotated in a reverse direction to that of the slurry-like fuel, to form a range F whereon a turbulent action is exerted, and slurry crushing takes place. Further, in a range S, a second steam 22, revolving in a reverse direction to that of the first steam 21, is added to perform atomization of the slurry-like fuel. |
