PURPOSE:To realize detection of expansion/contraction status of a cylinder by providing the tip of a rod part with small diameter part and a large diameter part in continuous arrangement and projecting an operation rod of a three- position change-over switch in a cylinder where the rod part is inserted and further moving the operation rod by means of the rod part in the direction perpendicular to the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A three-position change-over switch 12 is installed on a cylinder part side wall of a detector 9, while a ball 16, which is pressed by an operation rod 13 and moves with it, is held in a detection hole 15 provided on a side wall of a cylinder part 10 in such a manner as it is allowed to partially project into the cylinder part 10. A freely reciprocating rod part 11, which is fitted inside the cylinder part 10 and has its outside diameter small in the tip part and large in other parts as the cylinder's diameter, pushes the ball 16 and the operation rod 13 moves in the direction perpendicular to the cylinder to switch the three- position change-over switch. |
