PURPOSE:To satisfy both the increase of the air flow rate at a strong air flow and the lowering of the noise at a weak and a gentle air flows at the same time by a structure wherein a mechanism for a nose part to make shiftable so as to bring near to and keep away from a radial flow fan side is provided. CONSTITUTION:In order to perform cooling of heating under the condition operated with a strong air flow, an air flow rate change-over knob 16 is slidingly operated to be set to a ''strong'' side. Consequently, the nose part 11 is shifted (pivoted) through an interlocking mechanism 13 about the pivots 12 of a drain pan 10 toward a fan side, resulting in setting the gap (t) between the nose part 11 and a radial flow fan 8 to the minimum gap t1. Due to the throttling effect caused by the reduction of the gap (t), the remarkably increased air flow can be fed indoors. On the contrary, in order to operate with a gentle air flow, the knob 16 is set to a ''gentle'' side, resulting in setting the gap (t) to a wider gap t3 and enabling to feed the gentle air flow having remarkable lowered noise. |
