PURPOSE:To attain high-speed switching control with low power consumption, by controlling charge/discharge of a capacitor with a control signal. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 6 is opened and a charge of the capacitor 4 is zero, MOSFETs 3a, 3b are turned off. When the switch 6 is closed, a pulse generating circuit 13 generates a prescribed pulse, which is given to the secondary side of a transformer 5, the capacitor 4 is charged with a rectifying function of a switching circuit 12 to turn on MOSFETs 3a, 3b. When the charge is finished, the switch 6 is opened, the charge is kept as it is and the MOSFETs keep the turning state. When the MOSFETs are turned off, the switch 6 is closed again to charge up the capacitor 4 to a voltage higher than the switching voltage of the switching circuit 12. Thus, the switching element 12 is turned on, the charge of the capacitor 4 is discharged rapidly and the MOSFETs 3a, 3b are turned off. |
