<p>In a method of measuring pressure, in particular the stationary or virtually stationary pressure of a fluid, with a pressure-loaded measuring piston which is guided in a cylinder and is connected to a load-measuring device, the piston being guided in a contactless manner in the cylinder by means of hydrostatic or pneumostatic lubrication by a separating fluid supplied under pressure (according to Patent No.... Application No. P 3143919.5), it is proposed as an additional improvement that fluid and separating fluid be operatively connected to one another in a contactless manner. Here, the operative connection is made via a flexible separating member. The pressure of the separating fluid is conveniently regulated in accordance with the pressure of the fluid in such a way that equilibrium of the forces prevails at the separating member. A corresponding apparatus comprises a separating chamber with a flexible separating member arranged therein, one side of which is connected to a feed for the fluid to be measured and the other side of which is connected to a feed for the separating fluid, as well as a device for regulating the pressure of the separating fluid in such a way that a change in the position of the separating member is counteracted by a change in the pressure of the separating fluid. <IMAGE></p> |
