<p>To support the walls of an excavation, there are provided devices comprising upper and lower pairs of sheeting plates (2, 3) of which the sliding sides are guided by supports (1). The supports are arranged facing each other by pairs and held spaced apart by struts (4, 5) and are provided on either side with guiding slots (6) to receive the edges of the sheeting plates. The sides of the guiding slots turned towards the excavation wall will form a guiding surface (7) for the support (1) and the sides turned towards the inside of the excavation will form a guiding plane (8). To improve and simplify the support surfaces (1), there is arranged a single guiding slot (6) on each side of the supports (1) wherein the edges of the two sheeting plates (2, 3) are guided. The edges (9) of the outer plate (2) are guided between the guiding surface (7) and the guiding plane (8) and the edges of the inner plate (3) are guided between the outer plate (2) and the guiding plane (8). </p> |
