PURPOSE:To obtain a simplified provision that can give stronger bonding force between veneers easily and promptly by a method wherein molten adhesive agent that is dropped on the surfaces of two veneers including a veneer butt part and molten bonding strings are bonded under pressure. CONSTITUTION:The head edge 2a' of a successive veneer 2' cut by a cutting edge 5a is butted against the tail edge 2a of a foregoing veneer 2 cut by a cutting edge 5d at the veneer butt part 1. Then, thermoplastic adhesive strings 7 melted by a heater block 6 are bonded under pressure by an intermittent cold pressure member 8. When the cold pressure member 8 is dropping, a leaf spring 9a is opened to drop a prescribed quantity of molten thermoplastic adhesive agent 11 on the surfaces of the veneers 2, 2' including the butt part of the veneers 2, 2'. The adhesive agent along with the adhesive strings 7 are bonded with the veneers 2, 2' under pressure, cooled and hardened. |
