<p>PURPOSE:To provide a treatment device for waste water which permits simultaneous and through aerobic treatment and anaerobic treatment, by providing an air diffusion pipe in the lower part of a descending flow passage pipe for waste water to be treated and providing an ascending flow passage for waste water to be treated communicating with the bottom of the flow passage. CONSTITUTION:This treatment device for waste water has the 1st flow passage pipe 1 in which the waste water to be treated descends, the 2nd flow passage pipe 2 which communicates with the bottom of the pipe 1 and in which the waste water to be treated ascends, and an air diffusion pipe which is provided in the lower part of the pipe 1. A piping 12 is provided so as to permit the return of a part of the water discharged from a deaeration tank 5 to the pipe 1. The part of the pipe 1 upper than the pipe 3 is made anerobic and an anaerobic treatment can be accomplished in said part in the above-mentioned constitution. A large amt. of air is diffused from the pipe 3 to increase the concn. of O2 in the pipe 2 and to permit a through aerobic treatment. This method has high cleaning up power and is particularly suited for removing nitrogen.</p> |
