PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber product containing fibrous substance uniformly dispersed therein in an uncut state, by a method wherein stock rubber and a compounding agent are kneaded, broken and crushed to obtain fine particulate or powdery substance to which fibrous substance is, in turn, added to perform molding for vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:Stock material and a compounding agent except fibrous substance to be mixed are mixed by usual twin mixing roll and the obtained mixture is formed into a sheet or a pellet which is, in turn, comminuted by mechanical crushing. The resulting powder is put in a stirring container and fibrous substance (e.g., a cotton fiber or the like) is thrown into said container to be mixed with said powder under stirring. The obtained composition is received in a desired mold cavity and molded and vulcanized under heating and pressure to obtain an objective rubber product. USE:This product is used as a brake shoe for a bicycle, a conductive rubber sheet or the like. |
