The invention relates to a straw-depositing device on axial-flow combine harvesters. The aim of the invention is to reduce the outlay in terms of production and energy for such a device. The object on which the invention is based is to design and arrange the straw-dispensing region of the threshing and separating drum in such a way that, without additional driven conveying devices, a universal straw deposit easily adaptable to the particular harvesting requirements is possible. The features of the invention are that the end region of the threshing and separating drum is surrounded by a stationary cylindrical housing which is provided on its circumference with a plurality of orifices arranged distributed thereon, these orifices being closable, upon appropriate actuation, by a rotatable regulating cylinder surrounding the housing and likewise provided with orifices or by foldable or slidable covers arranged on the housing, and that the orifices of the housing are followed by rigid straw-guide channels and these by adjustable guide flaps.
